My Journey
I grew up in North London, studied History of Art at Leeds, and worked in events, but never truly felt fulfilled. Everything changed in 2020, when furlough gave me the time to reflect on what I really wanted to do. I’ve always loved dogs, so I tried my hand at grooming – and instantly fell in love with it.
From starting as an assistant at one of North London’s top salons, I worked my way up to junior groomer before training formally at a prestigious grooming school. Since then, I’ve gained hands-on experience in a variety of settings, from busy high street salons to more intimate home-based studios.
Now, with my own bespoke grooming van, I can offer the best of both worlds: professional grooming standards with the comfort and convenience of a one-to-one, stress-free environment.
Services
At Martha’s Mutts, every dog is treated individually. I take the time to understand their needs, temperament, and coat requirements so they leave looking and feeling their very best.
Some of the services I offer include:
🐾 Puppy Grooms – A gentle introduction to grooming, helping your puppy get used to the process early on with lots of positive reinforcement.
🐾 Bath & Brush – A refreshing clean, fluff-dry, and coat tidy to keep your dog’s fur in top condition.
🐾 Full Groom – Breed-specific cuts or a style of your choice, combined with nail trimming, ear cleaning, and hygiene tidy.
🐾 De-shedding Treatments – For heavy shedders, to reduce loose hair and keep their coat manageable.
🐾 Hand Stripping – For wire-haired breeds that require traditional coat maintenance.
Every appointment is carried out in my fully equipped mobile grooming van, offering your dog comfort, safety, and one-to-one attention from start to finish.
Things to Know

I cover Muswell Hill and surrounding areas within approximately a 3-mile radius.

All I require is a safe parking space for the grooming van and access to electricity.

Before booking, please read and accept my Terms & Conditions, as they ensure everything runs smoothly.

For certain dogs, additional charges may apply (for example: heavy matting, flea treatment, or challenging behaviour). These will always be discussed with you in advance so there are no surprises.
